The Niagara Gun Range is changing hands but remains open.

The current owner says it is unclear what the new ownership has in store for the facility at 3355 Niagara Falls Boulevard, but for now it is business as usual.

A message posted on the range's website from the current owner thanks customers for their 20 years of loyalty in North Tonawanda.

It reads:

Niagara Gun Range has been SOLD.

We would like to thank all of our loyal customers who have supported us over the past 20 years. Through good times and bad, you have helped us bring an idea to a reality.  To those that said it would never work, YOU helped us show them that YES IT CAN. You watched us grow over the years from a 600 square foot building to over a 25,000 square foot building bringing the best indoor gun range open to the public! For that, we will always be grateful!

We wish everyone the best in the years to come."

An earlier story incorrectly reported the range was closing. It remains open.
