Niagara Falls Councilman Charles Walker has been arraigned on charges that he failed to file campaign finance disclosure reports with the New York State Board of Elections.
Walker has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of knowingly and willfully failing to file statements.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's office says Walker did not report his campaign's financial activity during 2014 and 2015, which is required under state election law.
He was arraigned in Albany City Court.
If convicted, Walker faces up to a year in jail for each count.
Walker has served on the city council since 1999.
7 Eyewitness News has reached out to Walker for comment.
