Niagara County SPCA is looking for it's next Pet President

Calling all politicians with tails.

The Niagara County SPCA is holding a Presidential Pet Contest through November 8.

To enter your pet to run for President, Vice President or Secretary of the Shelter, upload your pet's picture into the appropriate animal category on the contest page.

Campaign for your pet by asking family, friends and co-workers to vote for your furry, or not-so-furry, friend.

The pet who receives the most votes will be inaugurated as the second President of the Niagara County SPCA. His or her picture will be professional taken to be hung in the adoption lobby for a year, beginning January 1.

First place will also get a $100 gift certificate to Pearl Street Brewery and two third row, center tickets to a Sabres game in 2017.

The pet with the second-most votes will be inaugurated as the Vice President and will also have his or her picture taken and hung in the adoption lobby.

Third place will be inaugurated as the Secretary of the Shelter and have his or her picture taken to be hung in the lobby.
