Workers are trying to repair parts of the Grand Island tollbooth, after an NFTA bus crashed after losing control.
A spokesman for the NFTA said the bus crashed at 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, after sliding on a patch of ice and losing control.
"An NFTA bus was crossing onto Grand Island and hit an EZ Pass lane very hard," said Richard Tobe, Director of Upstate Revitalization.
We've learned that there was no one in that booth at the time of the crash.
No one was on the bus, except for the driver.
No one was hurt.
