The City of Niagara Falls says it has nine plow truck drivers off the job, mostly due to Workers' Compensation claims.
The city recently hired four temporary plow truck drivers who will begin on January 1st, but that still leaves five positions empty.
The shortage may impact how quickly the city will be able to clean up neighborhoods during a storm.
