The chairmen of the Erie County Democrats and Republicans believe the New York primary win is a big grab for this year's presidential hopefuls.

Erie County Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy said the good thing about this primary season is that the presidential candidates will visit our region.

Langworthy thinks this gives voters the chance to hear directly from the future Commander in Chief. He said Trump will win the state despite Tuesday's loss to presidential candidate Ted Cruz in Wisconsin.

"I do believe Donald Trump is the front runner for the republican party he lost one primary yesterday he's still won the lion's share," said Langworthy. "I think it's unique you have a primary election on both sides of the aisle that are this contested."

Jeremy Zellner the democratic chair has a similar response. He believes despite Bernie Sanders winning Wisconsin he feels Hillary will come out on top in New York.

"When Secretary Clinton and Barack Obama ran for the nomination it ran through to June and so I'm assuming this is going to go through June but we expect Hillary to wrap it up," said Zellner.

Clinton will be in Buffalo Friday. One stop on her visit will be the Pierce Arrow museum in Buffalo.
