Are you ready to kick off the “unofficial” beginning of summer with a special brew? On Memorial Day, May 1st at 11:00 a.m., the New York Beer Project on Transit Road in Lockport plans on unveiling a very special brew called the Panda Paws Porter.
The new flavor highlights the tastes in Perry’s Premium Panda Paws Ice Cream – a popular flavor in retailers across Western New York. You can choose from vanilla, peanut butter, and fudge.
Representatives from New York Beer Project, Perry’s Ice Cream, and The Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation will be on hand at the NYBP for the first brewing of this collaboration.
But it doesn’t end there. This will be the first in a series of three Perry’s Ice Cream inspired beers released throughout the summer, with a Caribbean Coconut Blonde Ale coming out in July, and a Pumpkin Pie Ale scheduled for release in late August.
A dollars from each pint sold of the new ice cream will be donated to a cause chosen by the Woman and Children’s Hospital.
