Construction has begun on a new loft style apartment complex in North Buffalo. Work is underway at the former Korean United Methodist Church on the corner of Colvin and Tacoma to convert the building into the Bell Tower Lofts.
Dave Sutton, of Sutton Architecture, tells 7 Eyewitness News that the hope is to have the new structure framed and enclosed in time for winter. He says there has been "strong interest" in the new apartments which will also include on-site parking.
If all goes as planned the new Bell Tower Lofts could be completed by the summer of 2017.
