New inductees announced in the National Toy Hall of Fame

A new round of toys have been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame at the Strong Museum in Rochester, N.Y.

This year the museum. which is dedicated to the history of toys, received more than 4,000 nominations for 780 different toys.

There were only three toys inducted in the end. The swing is now on the elite list, as well as the 'Little People' by Fisher-Price. Fisher-Price is located in East Aurora, N.Y. 

The last game inducted was Dungeons and Dragons. The museum has said that the game directly impacted the success of similar games, like World of Warcraft.

So far 59 toys have been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame.

Last year's inductees were the puppet, Twister, and Super Soaker.
