Becoming a homeowner can be an exciting and proud time for anyone, but for one Buffalo family originally from Ethiopia, signing on the dotted line is extra special.
A family of five is now the proud owners of a brand new home. It was made possible through Habitat for Humanity, which works to help low income families become homeowners.
Donations of both money and materials, countless volunteers and 500 hours of sweat equity worked by the family made everything a reality this weekend.
An anonymous donation of $60,000 was given to start the project.
