What can you make with four recycled bottles? How about a New Era Cap.

The Buffalo based New Era Cap Company confirms with 7 Eyewitness News that the Denver Broncos of the NFL will debut a new cap made of recycled plastic bottles on Sunday November 12th. The Broncos are the second professional team to work with New Era on such a project. The Portland Trailblazers of the NBA debuted a similar recycled cap in April.

The new Broncos on-field caps are being produced at one of New Era's plants overseas. Each hat uses REPREVE recycled performance fiber made by Unifi Inc.

The REPREVE-based caps will come in multiple styles, including the 9FIFTY® and 9TWENTY®.  Retailing for $34.99 for the 9FIFTY and $24.99 for the 9TWENTY.

It's expected that other professional teams will be interested in working on a recycled cap but at this point New Era spokesperson Dana Marciniak says the company has nothing further to announce.
