After a series of water main breaks earlier this year, residents in Erie County questioned why there wasn't a quicker way for the Water Authority to release information and updates.
Today, the Erie County Water Authority tried to solve that very dilemma with the release of their new notification system called "ECWA Alerts!"
To sign-up for the alerts, all you have to do is text "WATER" to 1-844-716-3292, or visit their website at https://alerts.ecwa.org.
Subscribers will receive updates on relevant water main breaks and important issues in their area.
