Using the WKBW app for your local news? Great! But there is a change we want you to be aware of.

Don't have the app? Download the WKBW app for Android or iPhone/iPad

You can now select to receive some push notifications - and not others - from WKBW, though you're more than welcome to keep them all! The categories include Breaking News, Sports, Traffic, Weather and What's On TV.

We promise not to bombard you with push notifications no matter which categories you choose to keep. We just want to make sure that the push notifications we are sending are of interest to you.

For example, you may want to know if a Buffalo Bills player was put on the injured list. That would be a Sports push notification. If that doesn't interest you, you can now choose not to receive it.

Below are the steps you'll need to follow to manage your push notifications in the WKBW app.

1.) Open the app and click the < arrow in the upper left hand corner. We circled it in red for you:

2.) Next click on the gear icon, also circled in red:

3.) Then click on "Manage Notifications," once again circled in red:

4.) On the final screen, you can select which push notifications to receive. Then press "Done" in the upper right hand corner:

You're all set! Thank you for choosing to keep up-to-date with 7 Eyewitness News and the WKBW app!
