BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Niagara County Community College has a new program to deal with sexual assaults on campus.
NCCC is partnering with the YWCA, State Police and the Niagara County Sheriff's Office to provide services for victims.
The partnership was made official on Tuesday at the Board of Trustees meeting. This new agreement was triggered by the state's "Enough is Enough" legislation.
The Niagara Gazette reports, Thomas Gibbons, a senior investigator with the Sexual Assault Victims Unit's local division, told trustees his mission involves oversight, but also education.
