ST. CATHARINES, Ontario — According to the St. Catharines Standard, the first case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the Niagara region of Canada.
The patient is in stable condition at St. Catharines hospital after going to the emergency room within the last two days.
No information about the man's age or where he could have contracted the virus has been released.
