MIAMI (WKBW) — Royal Caribbean and Norwegian cruise lines have both suspended cruise operations for the next month in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Royal Caribbean says it will pause U.S. sailings for the next 30 days starting at midnight.

Norwegian Cruise Line, which operates NCL, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises, will stop cruises from March 13 until April 11.

The announcement comes a day after the Walt Disney company announced it was suspending all Disney cruises and closing Disneyland and Disney World.

Carnival Cruise Line has introduced stricter guidelines for guests 70 and older but has not suspended operations.
