BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo's "Response to Love Center" is now putting out an urgent appeal for help. The center runs a food pantry and soup kitchen for the poor. It desperately needs donations of cleaning materials, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer.

Sister Mary Johnice Rzadkiewicz has run the center for many years to help the poor. The Catholic Felician nun has no plans to stop operating during the coronavirus national health emergency because she expects to see a big increase in the number of people who will need the center's assistance.

In addition to cleaning supplies, Sister Johnice said the center is looking for donations of non-perishable and canned food items to help those affected by possible quarantine or illness.
