A police officer in Washington State is being hailed as a hero after pulling a woman from a burning vehicle.
The driver, Kim Novak, said she couldn't get out of the vehicle because the electrical power was gone. Officer Tim Schwering arrived on the scene, broke out the driver's side window, and helped Novak exit the vehicle.
The whole thing was caught on the officer's body camera. You can watch the video above.
A neighbor from a nearby home helped with the rescue. Novak received medical treatment at the scene and was released.
The officer was released from the hospital after getting treatment for smoke inhalation.
The neighbor sustained a small cut.
