Christie Cookie Company has been acquired by Rich Products.

The Nashville-based Christie Cookie will continue operating business-as-usual, company officials indicated. The acquisition was effective on Tuesday.

“As a private, customer-centric company that values the long-standing relationships we have with our customers, Rich’s was a natural fit to help take our business to the next level,” Fleming Wilt, President of Christie Cookie Company said in a statement. “In Rich’s, we have a partner with a 75-year track record of success, one that’s dedicated to ongoing innovation and growth and a company that not only values quality, but culture, too. We’re proud to join the Rich family of associates.”

Christie Cookie employs 100 people in Nashville. The company has one manufacturing facility and two bakery shops. They also have an additional location at Bridgestone Arena.

They produce 100 million cookies a year.

Rich Products – a 75-year-old, family-owned food company based in Buffalo – also has four manufacturing facilities across Tennessee, including locations in Gallatin and Murfreesboro.
