N Falls man dies after being shot multiple times

Early Saturday morning at approximately 4:30 am, Niagara Falls Police responded to the area of 2811 Highland Ave. for reports of a man shot.  

After arriving at the scene, officers learned the victim, 27-year-old Marcel Walker of Niagara Falls, had been transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in a private vehicle.  

While transporting Walker, the driver of the vehicle located a Rural Metro Ambulance and the victim was transferred into the ambulance and then brought to NFMMC.  

Walker was pronounced dead at NFMMC shortly after his arrival. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body. 

At the time of the shooting, multiple people were reportedly in the area and police are urging anyone that has any information to contact Niagara Falls Police at  (716) 286-4711, or the Criminal Investigation Division at (716) 286-4553.

At this time no arrests have been made.
