Racing fans the wait is almost over. A multi-level go-karting experience in Niagara Falls, Ontario is now only weeks away from it's grand opening.

The team behind the new 'Niagara Speedway' tell 7EWN that the track will open on June 1st on Clifton Hill in the Falls.

The spiraling track is being called "North America's largest elevated go-kart track facility" and is the first of it's kind in Canada. The track spirals up 40 feet into a roller coaster like ramp building speed near the bottom before transitioning into a formula race format course.

Crews are currently putting on the finishing touches of construction installing railings and final wiring for controls. The attraction will then go through final regulatory approvals before the grand opening.
