Motorcyclist flung from bike during crash

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist.

Deputies say a man was driving a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle north on Niagara Falls Boulevard just after 8:30 Wednesday morning when he hit a 2016 Ford pickup truck that was trying to make a left turn into the Gleason Gymnastic's plaza.

The motorcycle driver was flung several feet from the site of the the collision. He was transported to Erie County Medical Center with several injuries.

The other driver did not report any injuries.

The Sheriff's Office is not releasing the names of either driver at this time.
