State Police in Clarence arrested a woman on Monday for endangering the welfare of her three children.
Troopers say they made a traffic stop around 6:20 p.m. on the I-290 in the Town of Amherst for speeding.
Troopers found the driver was a 15-year-old girl driving her 10-year-old sister to dance class with a 3-year-old in the car.
Officials say the children's mother, Denise Townsend-Wacker, 37, of Tonawanda, had her 15-year-old drive her siblings because she didn't feel well.
Townsend-Wacker was taken to State Police in Buffalo and processed. She was givine an appearance ticket for the Town of Amherst Court for February.
State Police say the children were taken by a family member. NYS Child Abuse and Maltreatment Registry were contacted.
