After an initial faux pas that had football fans fuming, lululemon athletica has updated its mosaic at the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga.
The athletic store initial had a mosaic on the floor saying, “Wide Right No Goal,” which infuriated Buffalo Bills fans. After widespread criticism, the corporate offices got involved and tore the floor out.
The company’s senior VP of retail said, “We want the Buffalo community to know that we have heard them and we are sorry. We want to make it right.”
The store finished its new mosaic, which features a buffalo with a heart, used to represent “buffalove.”
