As of Thursday afternoon, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office reports that the mother and son last seen at the Niagara Falls Hard Rock Cafe have been located.
Sheriff Jim Voutour tells 7 Eyewitness News that the mother, 38-year-old Rose Mudd, was pulled over in the vicinity of the Niagara Falls Airport this morning at around 11:30. Police tell us she was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for an evaluation. The son, 10-year-old Thomas Mudd III, is safe with another family member.
The Buffalo Police Department reported the two as missing on Wednesday evening, saying they were last seen around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when Rose Mudd signed her son out from a field trip in Niagara Falls.
