Professional Mixed Martial Arts supporters are continuing their efforts to legalize the sport in New York State.
On Wednesday, representatives from the UFC will join other supporters of the legislation in Buffalo and Rochester to discuss the current efforts to legalize professional MMA.
Advocates believe professional MMA would generate $137 million in economic activity in the state, and UFC events alone would bring an estimated $17 million dollars to Upstate New York.
Currently, New York is the last place in North America where MMA is illegal.
