Sunday morning at Trattoria Aroma, NY State Senator Tim Kennedy, Assemblyman Sean Ryan, and Erie County Legislator Patrick Burke celebrated the new "brunch bill" with a mimosa toast.
The bill allows restaurants to sell alcohol starting at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
Both Kennedy and Ryan have been in support of "modernizing New York's Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, and getting rid of prohibition-era regulations" according to a news release.
Legislator Burke was also in support of similar changes, and had already sponsored a county level brunch bill.
