A 1.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded about four miles west of Lockport at 6:27 p.m. Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
According to the USGS any earthquake that registers 2.0 or less on the Richter scale is a microearthquake and is not felt.
7 Eyewitness News contacted the Niagara County Sheriff's Department and the Lockport police and both agencies report there were no injuries, damage or calls about the tremor.
