Winter Weather Advisory in place for Allegany, Wyoming and Cattaraugus County from 10 p.m. tonight until Tuesday 6 p.m. Expect a totals of 3-5" of wet snow to fall in some spots.

It doesn't matter where you are in Western New York, Tuesday's commute to work may just slow you down.

MONDAY

High: 43F

You don't have to worry about any rain or snow today. Your Monday is looking gray and cool with no noticeable breeze.

TUESDAY

Breakfast: 33F

A mix of rain and snow will arrive while you're in bed sleeping Tuesday. Rain will switch over to snow first for areas south and east of Buffalo. We're talking ski country. You folks can expect a wet 1-3" of snow in your neighborhood as you head outside Tuesday morning.

Expect a mix of rain and snow for us folks in Buffalo and the Northtowns for your commute into work. This may slow things down a tad on some of the major hubs. By late morning, expect any rain showers left in the area to switch over to scattered snow showers.

Lunch: 37F

Colder air flowing over Lake Erie will spark some lake flakes south and east of Buffalo for the afternoon and evening.

As for temperatures, the afternoon and evening will feel less comfortable than the morning thanks to a stubborn breeze.

Dinner: 30F

There will be some Lake Effect Snow Showers in Chautauqua County. The band of lake snow will be limited thanks to dry air aloft.

WEDNESDAY

High: 32

Low: 26

If there's one word that will describe your Wednesday, it's COLD! There will be a bite in the air as you step outside. That breeze sticks around for much of the day.

Expect some limited lake flakes Wednesday.
