Hundreds of men strapped on some heels and walked a mile in North Buffalo on Sunday in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The Crisis Services Advocate Program hosted the 11th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event to give men the opportunity to take a stand with women as allies.
All proceeds went to the Crisis Services Advocate Program, which provides confidential response and support services for survivors of rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, family violence, and elder abuse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
