State Police have charged a Mayville man in a fatal car-motorcyle crash. It happened Sunday on Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville.
Troopers said Joshua Huntress crossed over into oncoming traffic, hitting two motorcycles, each with a passenger. One of the motorcycle passengers, Tomasa Martinez, 66, of North Tonawanda later died from her injuries. The three other motorcycle occupants were hospitalized.
Troopers later arrested Huntress. He has been arraigned in Town of Warsaw court on charges of second-degree manslaughter, driving whie ability impaired by drugs, and several other vehicle and traffic violations.
Huntress was remanded to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $250,000 cash bail. He's due back in court at a later date.
