Mayor Byron Brown gathered city employees in the lobby of Buffalo City Hall on Friday to personally thank them for their service.
He also distribute Certificates of Appreciation to those who pitched in and lent a helping hand to Queen City residents during last month's snow emergency.
The mayor pointed out that his commissioners and department heads made the nominations of those employees who went above and beyond the call of duty in all the city's departments.
