Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster has canceled a previous a travel advisory for the City of Niagara Falls due to severe thunderstorms.
The Department of Public Works and Niagara Falls Water Board crews have been clearing the areas affected by the storm.
The mayor's office says Cayuga Island will be only be open to local traffic.
