A public art exhibit by a renowned artist is coming to Buffalo's Outer Harbor this summer.

On Monday, the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation announced " NUMBERS ONE through ZERO " by artist Robert Indiana will be installed as a temporary exhibit at Wilkeson Pointe.

The temporary installation will by placed in early June and stay on loan until October 2019. The work is composed of 10 eight-foot-high COR-TEN steel sculptures weighing close to 2,000 pounds each. The Albright-Knox Art Gallery will facilitate the loan and the exhibition of the work of public art.

The Wilkeson Pointe installation coincides with the exhibition Robert Indiana: A Sculpture Retrospective at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery this summer.
