Some parents and community members of Bennett High School football players are upset about what they say was poor officiating of a Section VI class C championship game.
At a news conference in November, parents and community members called for a full review of the game between Bennett High School and Maple Grove. Parents allege there was racial bias in some officiating calls, leading to Bennett's loss in that game.
Buffalo School Superintendent Dr. Kriner Cash responded to the request, saying there will be a full and independent review of the game to see if anything went wrong.
He also says Section VI is welcoming a call for diversification in its officiating staffs.
