Mustafa Aleid was shocked when we told him his blood samples were found on the streets on Buffalo's West Side.

"I am thinking something horrible like, why did you find it in the street when it should be in the clinic?" he said.

7 Eyewitness News was sent to the area of Albany and Hampshire by a concerned citizen who found test bags, containing blood samples and bio-hazardous materials on the sidewalk.

When we went back to the scene Wednesday afternoon, we found two more bags, one of which was Aleid's, with his personal information including address and age. Using the phone number on the bag, we called him to let him know.

Aleid says he and five other family members had their blood drawn ten days ago as part of the immigration process. He and five other family members had their blood drawn ten days ago as part of the immigration process. They are from Turkey.

A spokesperson with Quest Diagnostics tells 7 Eyewitness News it never received the samples ordered by the physicians office.

Quest says it is working with local law enforcement to find out what happened.
