Deputies with the Erie County Sheriff's Office arrested a wanted Buffalo man Tuesday morning who reportedly had a stolen and loaded handgun in his possession.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at South Park and Smith Streets early Tuesday in Buffalo. The deputies on scene says he detected an odor of marijuana and noticed the front and rear passengers with open alcoholic containers.

The deputies later discovered a loaded .380 caliber handgun that was reported stolen from Clarence in 2015. The driver's license was also suspended, and he had an outstanding warrant from the Town of Cheektowaga.

43-year-old Tyree Sommerville was arrested and charged with two felonies for criminal possession of a loaded and stolen firearm.

The passengers in the car, 24-year-old Antonio Henley and 24-year-old Devante Henley were also arrested and charged with felonies.
