A Buffalo man has died after being pulled from a house fire on Kermit Avenue.
Firefighters at the scene say the fire happened in an occupied home around 7 p.m. Thursday.
First responders say the 63-year-old man, who lived in the lower apartment, was found unresponsive under a kitchen table during a search, after the fire was put out.
The man's name is not being released at this time. Police say his death was caused by smoke inhalation and there are no signs of foul play.
Fire officials say the building sustained $50,000 damage.
Two people in the home's upper apartment made it out safely.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
