Man shot in the arm waiting at the University Metro Rail Station

Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority says a Buffalo man was shot while waiting at the University Metro Rail Station.

NFTA Police say the man was waiting on the upper level of the station when he was shot in the arm around 11:30 p.m. Friday. Officers found him in a parked van.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the NFTA Police at 855-6404. Those in the university community are reminded to always be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity to University Police at 645-2222.
