Man shot in Jamestown, suspect on the run

Jamestown Police say a man was shot several times while walking along Prendergast Avenue Sunday afternoon.

Police say the incident happened at the corner of 8th and Prendergast around 2:15. 

Witnesses say a blue sedan drove up to the intersection and fired at the victim.

The man has been taken to a local hospital for treatment and his condition is unknown.
