A man will spend 25 years behind bars for beating his 68-year-old mother to death of a 3-day period.
Using some kind of blunt object, 39-year-old William Tyes beat his mother Lenora to death in their Dodge Street home in February 2015.
Tyes hid the victim's body in a front foyer by closing the door, draping a sheet over the door and placing a couch in front of the sheet.
He then lied to family and friends about his mother's condition as he attempted to flee the area.
