A man is lucky to be alive after being rescued from an icy Lake Ontario over the weekend.
Pultneyville Fire and Water Rescue shared this photo of the accident. Officials say around 5 a.m. on Saturday, a man went off the end of Jay Street in the Wayne County hamlet and into the lake.
Scott Flora of the Williamson Highway Department and Jared VanKowenberg happened to be driving by and stopped to rescue the driver.
