A man dislocated a trooper's shoulder during a drug arrest following a traffic stop for tinted windows.
State Police in Niagara Falls say Ron Bennett, 36, was stopped on 8th Street in the City of Niagara Falls Sunday morning due to his tinted windows.
When troopers approached his car, they said narcotics were in plain sight.
Bennett was taken out of the car to be placed under arrest, according to police. They say the trooper dislocated his shoulder when Bennett pushed him onto the roadway.
Another trooper chased Bennett as he ran from the scene, according to State Police.
Bennett was taken into custody and found to have over 10 grams of cocaine and over 32 grams of crack cocaine, according to officials.
He is being held at the Niagara Falls Police Department until his arraignment on February 27.
