A Niagara County man has pleaded guilty to threatening the President of the United States.

Prosecutors say Jared Brown called the Lockport Police Department in September and made oral threats over the phone. During the call, Brown told an employee that he would kill President Obama.

When a Secret Service Agent asked the hypothetical question what Brown would do if the President walked into the interview room, Brown said he would shoot him.

Brown will be sentenced September 15, 2016.
