A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to second degree murder during his trial for the death of his former girlfriend.
On February 1, 2015, District Attorney John Flynn says Raymond Smith, 25, choked and beat Shaquilla Coston, 21, to death in her home at 43 Northumberland Avenue. The two have a young son together, Keyonte Smith.
Smith will face 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on March 9.
