A Chautauqua County man was airlifted from the scene of an accident involving an Amish buggy, Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff's deputies say the buggy, driven by 52-year-old Amos Shelter, was rear-ended by a car on Cherry Hill in the Town of Harmony.
Shelter was airlifted to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania, there is no word on his condition.
A veterinarian was called to the scene to examine the horse which suffered only minor injuries.
No charges are expected to be filed against the other driver involved.
