Jamestown Police say they chased a man on foot Wednesday who was trying to avoid being arrested.
Police say Maiker Anderson, 20, was walking on Foote Avenue at Chandler Street when he began running away from the officers, but was quickly caught and arrested.
Officials say Anderson was in possession of three small packages of crack cocaine that were packaged for sale and a large sum of cash.
Anderson was charged with obstructing governmental administration and criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
Authorities say he is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
