A Niagara Falls man has been sentenced to 27 years in prison, for child pornography charges.

Daniel Krull, 44, shared child pornography in a private Facebook group, prosecutors say. Facebook shut this group down in 2016, and reported it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Last summer, the Niagara County Probation Department searched Krull's phone, and found thousands of explicit images of minors, investigators say. During the investigation, Krull admitted to molesting three underage girls, as well as following young girls at a local retail store.

Krull has also been convicted of possessing a sexual performance by a child less than 16 years of age, in 2007.
