On Saturday night, a Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to stop a motorcycle on Route 20 in the Town of Ripley.

The Sheriff's Office says 51-year-old Roy Yokom was traveling 80 mph in a 40 mph zone. After failing to comply, the deputy pursued him into Northeast PA, where Yokom crashed his vehicle trying to navigate a curve on Route 426.

Yokom was unharmed and taken into custody. It was discovered by the deputy that an outstanding warrant exists in his name, in the Town of Ripley.

Deputies continue to investigate. He is being held without bail and will face charges in both NY and PA.
