Three have pleaded guilty in a credit card scam that manufactured dozens of forged credit and debit cards.

Erie County District Attorney Michael Flaherty says Mohamed Kaba, 24, Kelsey DaPaah, 25, and Nkemjika Ogbuagu, 24, were arrested for the forgeries that were created with stolen personal identifying information and used them for local and online purchases.

Officials say Kaba pleaded guilty to five counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of criminal possession of a forgery device. He faces two and one-third years to seven years in state prison when he is sentenced on December 23.

According to the DA's Office, DaPaah and Nkemjika are awaiting sentence in December.
